Publisher's Summary

Galaxy's Edge, Part III contains Sword of the Legion through to the end of Prisoners of Darkness.

Daring heroics, sacrifice, and courage come together as the Legion attempts to contain the fire sparked at the Battle of Tarrago. But the galaxy is spiraling into all-out war.

Captain Chhun's Dark Ops squad is reunited with Wraith. When their mission to deny Goth Sulluss the shipyards he so eagerly desires goes awry, Chhun and Wraith must find a way to stop the Black Fleet's advance - even if it costs them their lives.

Meanwhile, an old friend from Nether Ops executes a covert operation that will turn the focus of the Last War of the Republic in a terrible new direction.

Following Goth Sullus's ruthless onslaughts against the Republic, a desperate House of Reason searches for scapegoats - and finds one, deserving or not, in Commander Ellek Owens. His sentence is cruel, unjust - and final. Unless Victory Squad has anything to say about it.

In the Umnar system, the soulless menace known as the Cybar seeks to break Prisma Maydoon - and to set the stage for the total annihilation of not only the Republic, but all life in the galaxy.

Starting to really enjoy this series.

Series is really beginning to get better each release. Yes, it draws comparisons to Star Wars and get confusing, but RC Bray is awesome and really brings this story alive.

Excellent book!

Wonderful series I'll keep listening to the rest of them.

Great job with this

Enjoyable... Takes a little time to get into.

You have to perserver and push on and things start to come together. The bouncing to new situations with only new characters that you initially have no idea as to how they fitt in is bewildering at first. But in the end it is all worth it. Moving on to Part IV!

The series is getting better

I had some gripes with the tropes of the first book, but I'm started to get invested in the characters and the universe. It's beginning to be a fun read, I'm glad I pushed through. R.C. Bray is awesome, easy to listen to, and reads easily distinguishable characters. Pretty good.

good. starting to come together, but

I'm finding the writing a bit too scripted and some of the characters are not coming more defined, but less defined and more unreal. i would expect to understand the characters more by now, but the deeper we go, the more they just seem like theyre just created on the fly, and not clearly thought out beforehand. it detracts from the story.

Boy I hate the "Points"

Finally justice for Admiral Devers! I think we all can relate to having a "Stupid Supervisor" once in our life. I can't wait to find out what happens now that everyone is back!! R.C. Bray's portrayal of the characters makes me almost feel their glee, and sorrows.

Best book of the series

The third book was by far my favorite. Had a little bit of everything in this one. The part I enjoyed best was no repeated self examination or location updates like the the second book which got annoying. Can't wait for the fourth.

another good one for the series

good series and part 3 is a good addition. I wish there was more hours of content for the price. it's a good book, but maybe not epic to the point of the current costs for the series.

Where Disney dropped the ball...

This is STAR WARS Supreme. A great story, great characters (somehow familiar) and an awesome plot. When Disney is creating a Sci-Fi Diversity Celebration Debacle, turning a Wookie into a Vegetarian, these guys are creating a high-end plot with unexpected turns and twists, jabbing at the whole diversity baloney and political correctness at every opportunity possible. Imagine Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek boiled down to it's pure essence severed with a big helping of Clonetroopers, Bounty Hunters, Sith and Aliens from sexy to haunting.....it doesn't get much better!
I don't know if any or both of them ever deployed to the middle east, but the way these guys build up and describe the race of the Zhee (!?!) will create flashbacks if you ever traveled/worked/fought in this region!!!
RC Bray is bringing the whole story to live. He is awesome. One of the best narrators I have experienced so far.
So, if you like the military, good hard core Sci-Fi, if you are sad that Star Wars was reduced to a mere shell of it's former greatness, if you are critical towards identity politics and you like to be politically incorrect. These are the books you want..and by the way, I hope they will write more!!!

Netflix pick this series up now!

I've got the books, but got hooked on the audiobooks so they remain unread. one of the best Sci-fi mil series I've listened to period. narratior is one of the elite, so of course no complaint there.

One of the best series I’ve read so far

I have thousands of books but few are worthy of listening to several times. This is one of them and well worth the time. The authors tell a wonderfully complex story that keeps you engaged all the way through. RC Bray is awesome as always!

OMG!!! Why did I start this series?!?

Unbelievable how well this series reads. Great characters and then they add in RC Bray. Wow! Can’t wait to hear the next series. Thank you for getting me strung out on Galaxy’s Edge Audible. Makes the ride to and from work enjoyable!

Blatant intolerance

I’m the last guy to call the pc police, but this book takes an disturbing twist into religious extremism when it starts to describe a hyper violent race of zealots with mullahs and khans that are described in very offensive terms. If you like your sci-fi with a healthy dose of religious bigotry, then this is your lucky day.

RC Bray is fantastic of course.

Meh. It's all been done before.

Seriously. I don't know what these guys were thinking. This whole saga might as well be the Han Solo origin story. It's not even subtle. Hard to criticize specifics without huge spoilers, and most of it isn't terrible, but it "borrows" heavily from Star Wars. Right down to the force (telekinesis and force ghosts anyone?) and Han frickin' Solo. Of course they don't CALL their Han Solo character "Han Solo", but that's who he is.

It was all going ok, despite the blatant SW ripoff, but then they brought in the Cylons.

Not just a nod to Battlestar Gallactica, but actual fracking Cylons in all but name.

One of these guys is a great writer. The other one just drags the story down. Too bad I don't know which is which. I'll just have to avoid both from now on. RC Bray plugs through it as usual. He does a good job for the most part, but bad writing can't be saved by decent narration.

Loving the series, a great addition

I love what Anspach and Cole have created, the Galaxy Edge series sets the bar for Military Sci-Fi. Great characters and action. If new to the series start at the beginning you’ll enjoy it more and you will thank me. RC Bray is excellent and most importantly KTF!!
