Publisher's Summary

Stunned by tragedy, desperate, and alone, Heaven's daughter clung to the frailest of dreams!

The car crash that killed Heaven and Logan left Annie Casteel Stonewall orphaned and crippled. Whisked off to Farthinggale Manor by the possessive Tony Tatterton, Annie pines for her lost family, but especially for Luke, her half-brother. Friend of her childhood, her fantasy prince, her loving confidante...without the warm glow of Luke's love, she is lost in the shadows of despair.

When Annie discovers Troy's cottage hidden in Farthinggale's woods, the mystery of her past deepens. And even as she yearns to see Luke again, her hopes and dreams are darkened by the sinister Casteel spell...treacherous, powerful, and evil!

meh

V.C. Andrew's died while writing this series. you can tell it's this book that was written by a ghost writer. The first 3 books were 5 star books. This one was just meh. They used a different narrator too who wasn't nearly as good.

Another great story in this series.

This 4th book of the Casteel series is as great as the other 3. The narrator wasn't as good as the narrator that narrated the first 3, she did seem as though she did not enjoy reading.

Loved it!

Listening to them all really brought it all back to me. I read the series(along with several others) when I was in high school and now it's on to Web of Dreams.. : )

Never saw the twist coming

What a twist to this series, I never imagined it turning out the way it did.

Disappointing!

I've read the series beginning with Heaven and Logan. This book is the continuation of the story. While I LOVED the first 3 books, I found this story too predictable!

The World of a Casteel is hard and exciting!

The narrator was not as exciting as the previous one from the other books but as always the story line was wonderful!
