Another very well-done Roald Dahl audiobook

We've enjoyed several Road Dahl audiobooks as a family, and this one didn't disappoint. It was good fun, and well read. #Audible1

Feel like a kid again!

In my mind this was one of the best stories my parents read to me! It just feel like something any kid would want to do - mix up some sort of brew with random ingredients.
I have gifted this book to so many kids because I just feel that every child should have this story in their world. Roald Dahl just had such great imagination and story telling abilities. That is the reason his stories are so popular to this day, and it is the reason they will continue to do so decades from now.

Typical Roald Dahl fun

If you like Roald Dahl quirkiness and humor, you'll love this one too...the quirkiness and word play of books like the BFG and the Twits with hidden value in the story like evil, greed, and bad being defeated by good in crazy, impossible ways. A unforeseen, imaginative, unexpected hero and funny twist of events leading to good defeating bad.

George's Marvelous Medicine: Another Batch

Roald Dahl has a style that no children's author could not otherwise attempt in 2018. George's Marvelous Medicine is a profanity free exploration of trying to poison your mean-spirited grandmother using household items. The wonders that follow aren't the entertaining journey of Charlie and the Chocolate factory, but a reminder of what children's literature could be in the 2nd half of the twentieth century... short, dangerous, and a bit jaded toward the older generations.
