It was ok
Troy Duran is amazing, I’m not the biggest fan of Jillian Macie, to me she has too much of a “little girl” voice for the this role. The story was ok for a quick free read, it’s a simple “love” story.

Predictable Ride with a Few Sparks

This was my first book by Daphne Loveling, and I stumbled upon it on Audible while hunting for a title starting with "G" for one of my book challenges. *Ghost* had the bones of an intriguing MC romance but ultimately didn’t break new ground. The story started off strong, capturing my attention with its gritty feel and a bit of suspense, but hit a wall as the plot seemed to drift toward a predictable HEA without much build-up or backstory.
Cas and Jenna had chemistry, and the narration by Troy Duran and Jillian Macie helped bring that tension to life. However, the balance between steam and story felt off. At its core, the romance was enjoyable, but it leaned heavily into the smut without fully developing the emotional or situational stakes. The read was quick, making it ideal for a short escape, but I was left wanting a bit more depth to the characters and their shared history.

Great start to this series
I was looking for something light to listen to while I am multitasking and I hot hooked so quickly. I love the storyline so light and entertaining. I absolutely looove Troy Duran, could listen to him narrate all the books I am reading.

Meh. Female narration is terrible!!
for this story the female narration was awful!!!! made the character sound like a spoiled little brat and it was hard to take. I will not be listening any further, unfortunately. The series had potential but this voice ruins it for me. Troy was great as per usual!!

It’s okay
The female protagonist kinda bugged me, 5 years of her life & 4 of her son’s could of been a lot better if she had just told the truth rather then running away and trying to do everything on her own.
Then to come back to her small town within minutes of meeting a woman who usually serves drinks at the MC bar, she’s letting her babysit her son including over night! 😳 that’s a big red flag 🚩 my mom was a single mother & never would she let someone she just met watch my sister & I. And never over night that’s a huge leap of trust!
The way ghost forgave her instantly for lying & keeping his son from his was far fetched!
Then the background story with her dad & the rival gang just seemed like an afterthought
