Story
For the last three years, I've lived and breathed hockey with one goal: team captain. There's only one thing standing in my way. TJ Beckett. Beck is irresponsible and immature, and I've hated him since the moment we met freshman year. Yet the coaches see something in him I obviously can't, and they refuse to choose between us. The captain spot is going to a team vote. And the team thinks that what we need are a bunch of challenges to prove our worth.

Story
Hockey, studying, and school runs. That's my life now. After a tragic accident that took our parents' lives, it's up to me and my big brother to take care of our five younger siblings. In between burning their meals and keeping them from killing each other, I'm supposed to get a college degree. If I don't get my grades up, I'm in danger of losing the one thing that makes me happy: my spot on the hockey team.

Story
The fall from NHL superstar to domestic disaster was swift and painful. When I became the legal guardian of my five younger siblings, I had no idea what I was doing. One year later, I'm still lost. Coaching CU's hockey team might be the only thing I'm excelling at. But when our star forward is failing math, I have to do what it takes to keep him on the team. Even if it's going head-to-head with Jasper Eckstein. One minute I'm confronting the notorious hockey-hating professor, and the next I'm agreeing to be his date to a twenty-year high school reunion. I don't know how that happened.

Story
I’ve never thought much about Orson Naples. He’s a cute guy who I’d seen around town a few times, but then one day he up and left and didn’t reappear until a few years later. No one knows where he went or what he was doing, all this gossipy town knows is that he’s a widower, owns the florist, and is friends with that divorced group that hang out at the Killer Brew all the time.

Story
"Look out for Zach, and don't hit on him." My brother's request sounds easy enough. Keep an eye out for his best friend on campus and keep my hands to myself. Easy. Even if Zach is a quintessential nerd, who I've always thought was cute, I don't have the time to think with my...stick. There's only one stick I should be focused on this year, and that's my hockey stick. My goal once I graduate is to get an NHL contract. The last thing I need is a distraction. On or off the ice. Only, keeping to the rules is harder than I thought it would be.

Story
The worst part of being in love with my straight best friend is the fact he’s too oblivious to see it. Years of pining have left me exhausted, and I need a break from Dex. I need space to get over my feelings. But when his relationship falls apart and he turns to me for comfort, I cave immediately. If there’s one thing I hate more than being hurt, it’s seeing Dex struggle. I can’t leave him in a time of need, even if my friends say it’s my biggest downfall. They say Dexter Mitchale is my weakness, but if that’s true, I don’t want to be strong.

When it comes to hockey, I'm all about the game. I've worked for years to be one of the best in the league, and l've done it without splashing my orientation all over the tabloids. My hockey image is one I've carefully cultivated, and after one night with Ezra Palaszczuk, I risk it all. He's cocky, obnoxious, and has an ego bigger than Massachusetts. And okay, maybe he's the sexiest man I've ever known. We'll never get along. Not when we sleep together. Not even when my possessive streak awakens. That doesn't stop us from falling into bed together over and over again.

My whole life I’ve had the pressure of being Marcus Talon and Shane Miller’s football prodigy. I’ve been destined to follow in my NFL-playing fathers’ footsteps since the day I was born. I usually thrive under pressure, but as senior year looms, it all gets too much, and I need an outlet. The last place I thought I’d find my release is at Levi Vanderbilt’s graduation party. In his bed. With him.

Life doesn’t always pan out as you expect. When it explodes in my face, literally, an old friend offers me a place to heal and a job renovating the kitchen of Burlington’s coolest wine bar. V&V is a chill fest. Living above it should be a blast. But I’m not built to be a social butterfly. Not anymore. I’m a damaged man. And I’m not its target clientele. At least, I think I’m not until I come face-to-face with the most beautiful human I’ve ever seen.

I’m not sure how it happened, but it turns out I’ve unknowingly been dating three people. Friends don’t spoil other friends, apparently. My trust fund means I can afford to, though, and what’s a meal here and there? Or some clothes? Or textbooks? That doesn’t mean we’re dating, right? Others disagree. If I want to get through the rest of college knowing who my friends are, I need help from someone who knows all about dating and can tell me what not to do. Someone like Mr. Romance.

You know what's not fun? Going on a Fiji vacation with four other couples. Especially when recently single. What's even worse is when a past hook-up arrives unannounced. Not only do we have a history, but he's 10 years younger and a famous rock star. Most importantly, he's my friend's little brother. Being trapped on an island with Jet Jackson is going to be sweet torture because all I want is another chance. I just don't think he's going to give it to me.

When Talon left to play pro ball six years ago, the hole in my chest confused me. I focused my heartache into making my own NFL dreams come true, and by the time I was drafted, the longing I had for my best friend was buried deep. Now, he wants everything to be like it was in college, but we can't have threesomes and be reckless like we once were. The media storm would be enough to break both our careers. That's not my biggest concern, though. The torch I had for him burns brighter after so long apart, and there's nothing I can do about it. Marcus Talon is straight.

Publisher's Summary
Cohen: It turns out making out with my best friend in high school could be considered gay. Who knew? Apparently, everyone but me.
Now that it's been pointed out, I can't help reliving it in my head. Repeatedly. Good-bye Denial Town, hello Confusionville.
When my path leads me down the gay dating app route, I don't expect to meet anyone I like, but then I meet him. He can't be more opposite than me. He's smart, he hates hockey, and he identifies as demi - something I've never heard of. Yet I can't deny something's there.
Seth: All my life, I've felt broken. Sick of being asked if I could be gay by ex-girlfriends, friends, and even my parents, I join a gay dating app to prove a point.
I don't expect to find what's always been missing. A real connection. The problem is, I'm too scared to meet him in person. He's a hockey player, and I fear when he finds out my twin plays for the NHL, I'll be overshadowed by my overachieving brother. Again. Worse yet, what happens if we meet and that connection isn't the same?
When I tell him I'm not ready, he's disappointed but supportive. Fate, on the other hand, isn't as accepting.
Contains mature themes.

Makes me want to get interested in hockey
I love Eden's books that almost always have an element of hockey in them. She makes me want to go watch a game. I'm not familiar with Saxon James but I can see the slight difference in Eden's storyline pattern.
What put the icing on the cake was the awesome duo of Alexander Candese and Iggy Toma. I love Iggy's voice so much. These two work so well together. It seems kind of organic.
This was all in all a great story and an awesome listen.

Such a Great Series!
Revisited on audio and it elevated the story so much! This narrator duo is just so perfect for this series!
I am really enjoying this series! I am so happy we got Seth and Cohen's story. I just knew there was this lovable, caring person under all the fun and games Cohen has been a part of on the team up to this point. Both he and Seth are questioning their sexuality and the way they begin their relationship was so well done. They got to know each other without any pretenses of hockey or family or friends...it was so sweet to watch their exchanges back and forth...they built such a level of trust and comfort with each other before they ever met face to face, I loved that! And then once they did get together face to face their relationship just elevated to the next level...it was steamy, tender, touching, and had me laughing out loud at times.
We also get so much page time with Foster, Zach, Beck, Jacobs...they are such a part of both these men, and it was glorious to revisit with them. It made me want to go back and start all over again with book 1!

Adorable Coupling
Psychologically astute and just the right way to get acquainted and develop a solid foundation for sexual exploration. The boys voices were superbly spoken by the narrators. Loved the story and hope one like it will develop in my own life. Truly the ice hockey games were realistic and easy to imagine being either a player or someone in the audience.

So good!
I always love these straight to queer stories. You think they are going to be super cliché but it is so emotionally heartfelt and the writers have such a good description of how it is to come out not only as a Demi sexual every day individual but also as a bisexual athlete. I definitely plan on listening through this book again when I need my heart to get all warm and fuzzy! Not to mention any book that Alexander Cendese and Iggy Toma read together is just perfection. I have very few authors that I thoroughly enjoy listening to and solely pick books just because they are narrating it but these two take the cake! If you’re thinking about downloading this book trust me it’s worth the credit !!!

Had potential
The story had so much potential but it was ultimately disappointing. It was too preachy and towards the end employed the tired trope of a big misunderstanding to create tension. Also one of the main characters does something to interfere in the others’s life in an unacceptable way, which is ultimately glassed over. And the narration of the parents and coach was absurd. It was a caricature of old people.

While not my favorite of the series, I still loved the couple and that fact that things happen at the same time through out these first few books. The narration was awesome.
