Excellent first book in the prequel of Sigurd. Never doubt Giles Kristian. Can’t wait to start book two.

-“W0W” - One of the best novel of historical fiction I’ve listened too. Giles Kristian is as good an author as Bernard Cornwell and Ben Kane . who both specialize in historical fiction. Highly recommended. I’m starting the next book in the series!! , incredible entertainment ! I really like the warfare and fighting in the books. He describes hand to hand combat, spears , axes , sward fights, it’s just so dam good 👍 Spectacular Gore and Violence 😜

I liked this story quite a bit. God manly tale without overkill on the super warrior trope. Author doesn't go the straight obvious route. I'm not over the moon, but I liked it.
