The first half of the boom was far better than the second half. There wasn't a lot of worry banter. I found both MCs lacked a true independent goal. The misunderstanding between them was too easy to resolve...one or two questions would have done it. Much of the second half of the book was introspection which really dragged on the pacing.

Let me start by saying I LOVE TESSA DARE!!
But this one was a BIG miss for me. I couldn't even finish it.
My biggest problem was the narrator. Not sure if it's because I was used to the other narrators she uses or what, but it just didn't sit well with me. In the future, I will not be buying any audiobooks read by this narrator.
Second I found the female very annoying, but I think if I was reading this book instead of listening to it I would definitely finish it. The story was a classic falling for the brother's best friend which I always enjoy.
To summaries. I hated narration, but will probably buy the book to finish it.
