Story
In Captive in Iran, Maryam and Marziyeh recount their 259 days in Evin. It’s an amazing story of unyielding faith - when denying God would have meant freedom. Of incredible support from strangers around the world who fought for the women’s release. And of bringing God’s light into one of the world’s darkest places - giving hope to those who had lost everything, and showing love to those in despair.

Story
On February 29, 1948, Richard Wurmbrand was arrested by the secret police. His crimes? Leading Christian worship and witnessing - both of which were illegal under the atheistic Communist regime of Romania. Richard spent 14 years in prison. He was tortured, beaten, and locked into a solitary confinement cell. Sabina Wurmbrand spent three years in a labor camp, nearly freezing to death as she and other prisoners worked on the Danube Canal. She was repeatedly told her husband had died behind bars. Now, for the first time, both sides of this amazing story are told in one audiobook.

The dramatic autobiography of one of China's dedicated, courageous, and intensely persecuted house church leaders. This is the gripping story of how God took a young, half-starved boy from a poor village in Henan province and placed him on the front line for Jesus, in the face of impossible odds. Instead of focusing on the many miracles or experiences of suffering, however, Yun prefers to focus on the character and beauty of Jesus.

Christianity could be defined as a “cold case”: it makes a claim about an event from the distant past for which there is little forensic evidence. In Cold-Case Christianity, J. Warner Wallace uses his nationally recognized skills as a homicide detective to look at the evidence and eyewitnesses behind Christian beliefs. Including gripping stories from his career and the visual techniques he developed in the courtroom, Wallace uses illustration to examine the powerful evidence that validates the claims of Christianity.

Publisher's Summary
God’s people are hiding in plain sightTens of millions of Christians live in China today, leading double lives to hide from a government that relentlessly persecutes them.
By day, Bob Fu was a teacher in a communist school; by night, he was a preacher in an underground house church network. This edge-of-your-seat book tells the true story of Fu’s conversion to Christianity, his arrest and imprisonment for starting an illegal house church, his harrowing escape, and his subsequent rise to prominence in the United States as an advocate for his oppressed brethren.
God’s Double Agent will inspire you to boldly proclaim and live out your faith in a world that is at times indifferent, and at other times murderously hostile, to those who spread the gospel.

Speechless
Wow, what a profound testament to God’s faithfulness and miraculous ways! There were several points in this book where I began to cry tears of joy and amazement at the ways in which He works. We (the general ‘we’) in the West tend to become apathetic about our faith (I’m guilty of this) because we don’t truly know what it is like to be persecuted and to truly loose everything because of our faith. Yet I’m Fu’s book there are countless stories of people who have been imprisoned, beaten, followed, tormented, etc because of their faith and YET nothing can stop them from sharing Christ’s Good News. This book is encouraging and convicting and I will encourage all to listen/read it!

We take our freedom to study God’s Word for granted!
Bob Fu had such a strong desire to share the story of Jesus and the salvation through Him, no matter the cost. I believe the book was finished in 2012- so not long ago. It is likely the same today.
Very convicting to me who has only had a demeaning look or a sarcastic remark to deal with.
A true story of persecution for being a true Christian! Recommend it highly

This was an amazing and eye opening book. I had no idea of the extent of the persecution and corruption, and the treatment of citizens and Christians. I'd heard of underground churches and one child but had no idea of the extent and the fact of it being ongoing. Thank you Bob for shining a light on this my prayers are either you and China.
