When good is an understatement
I was looking forward to this new series of Shannon Mayer's and I am not disappointed! Dang! Awesome story, great storytelling, characters that you love or hate or love to hate, surprises,... Everything is there to make it memorable, and Amy Landon's narration only made the experience even more fun.

The hint of comedy
I wasn't sure I was going to continue on with this story, but by chapter 4? It became somewhat interesting. will I buy the next book?? Probably if it goes cheap. Found the writing a little droll for what I was used to.

Great start to a (hopefully) great series!
Really enjoyed this take on the fated-mates trope within a wolf-shifter/magical urban fantasy romance! The narration was great along with the plot. Also loved the concept of an alpha wolf shifter having to experience what it was like to be on the other side of the canine hierarchy :)
