About this listen

A brand new full cast audiobook production of the classic collaboration from internationally bestselling authors Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett starring Rebecca Front as the Narrator, Michael Sheen as Aziraphale, and David Tennant as Crowley!

""Good Omens . . . is something like what would have happened if Thomas Pynchon, Tom Robbins and Don DeLillo had collaborated. Lots of literary inventiveness in the plotting and chunks of very good writing and characterization. It’s a wow. It would make one hell of a movie. Or a heavenly one. Take your pick.""—Washington Post

According to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch (the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655, before she exploded), the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just before dinner.

So the armies of Good and Evil are amassing, Atlantis is rising, frogs are falling, tempers are flaring. Everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon—both of whom have lived amongst Earth's mortals since The Beginning and have grown rather fond of the lifestyle—are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture.

And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist . . .

Don’t miss Season 2 of the Prime original series!

This version of Good Omens was an absolute joy to listen to! Having grown up with parents doing character voices, this was like re-experiencing that... but with more adult content I guess 😇😅

Big thanks to everyone involved in narrating and bringing the characters and story to life! will definitely be listening to this again probably multiple times.

I might be a bit biased in my rating since Good Omens is my favourite book, and has been for a long time. I've read and re-read it a million times, listened to the radio version, and watched the show. That being said, I still wholeheartedly reccomend listening to this version, especially if you're already a fan. Very well done, loved the full cast performance, and it was a nice touch to have Michael and David voice their characters here as well -kind of like a nice little mash-up of the show characters with the original book dialogue and personalities. 5 stars all around, the book still makes me laugh and I definitely enjoyed listening.

Excellent performance of an excellent book

it's just a fucking masterpiece (but make the statement 15 words long so I can submit this).

This is a full cast performance, with narration by Rebecca Front - but also has the stars of the TV Show - David Tennant and Michael Sheen. I have watched the Amazon series a couple of times, so it was interesting to hear that, espeically in the case of Aziraphale, this is definitely the *book* version of the characters.

Hugely enjoyable, and I did think that the voice actors playing Ananthema and Pulsifer were much improved on the TV versions, (for example Anathema has a clear sense of humour, and Arthur Darvill is spot on how I have always imagined Newt to be).

This full performance enriched a wonderful, humourous, fantasy novel.

Loved it!
