Publisher's Summary

Danger, betrayal, and enticing forbidden love clash in book three of number-one New York Times best-selling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Harbinger trilogy!

When angels fall

Trinity Marrow has lost the battle and her beloved Protector. Even with both demons and Wardens on her side, Trin may not win the war against the Harbinger.

Bringing Lucifer back to the world to fight the Harbinger is probably a really, really bad idea, but they’re out of options - and the world’s ultimate fallen angel is the only being powerful enough to impact the outcome.

As Trin and Zayne form a new and more dangerous bond and Lucifer unleashes Hell on earth, the apocalypse looms and the world teeters on the end of forever. Win or lose, one thing is certain - nothing will ever be the same.

Nothing extraordinary...

I liked the story, it was ok. With this said, I was quite dissapointed because I expected soo much more... I do love JLA's books and writing in general, but this story didn't do it for me, there are some parts that I loved, but soo many that I found rather dull, I did enjoy it and I do recommend it because I believe is an adequate ending for the whole series but I couldn't find myself giving it more than 3 stars because It didn't cut it for me.

A great ending

I really enjoyed this series. The sharp wit and current day references made me laugh.
The story isn't over but it was left in a good place as to leave you filling in the small gaps while the characters got the happy ending.

Great ending to the series

Narrator was amazing and such a sweet ending - with some surprising twists and turns. Love that Trinity is strong yet but flawless - such an amazing heroine

Needs a new narrator!

Overall the story is good. I liked the h in this series better than in the Dark Elements series. But for the love of God, please get a new narrator for the next series! I can’t even describe how bad and annoying she is to listen to. It makes me wonder if the authors ever listen to the audible. So I do recommend this series but maybe read instead of listen.

Great series

I love JLA's series, this one got me hooked pretty quick. I hope there will be more to come in the future for the harbinger gang. I finished this within 48 hours of release, I could not out it down. So many unexpected plot twists

Grace and Glory

Holy Moly
This book was everything I wanted it to be and so much more!

Zayne well he is a miracle let’s be honest who saw that coming? I know I didn’t the ins and outs of how it all went down. I was in shock and the Crone and the role she plays never would have put two and two together you just never know.

Trinity’s strength shines through in this book and I loved seeing her come into herself.
Also Peanut!! I mean if you know you know… WHO knew! Ha.

Also can we talk about Lucifer for a second, I loved him. I know that sounds weird because it’s Lucifer but he gave some much needed comic relief.

I am so re-listened to this series this week I needed it.
Fantastic narration too, I really liked Lauren Fortgang’s voice, and her character voices are perfect.

Amazing series, absolutely brilliant narration

This book starts where the last one left off, Trinity lost the battle against Gabriel and Zayne. Now she needs to find a way to fight back, she will try to bring Lucifer top side and find a way to destroy The Harbinger. You will have beloved characters from this world meeting to help and you will be in for another entertaining and fantastic adventure. Will Trinity win this time? Find out and if you love audiobooks I totally recommend getting this one in audio, Lauren Fortgang is the narrator and she is absolutely brilliant!

Way too much sex

Although the story was good and packed with action there was way too much explicit sex in this one for my taste could’ve spent more time on the story and less time in the bedroom

Too face paced

This third book is a bit disappointing. The performance was good just like the last two, however I feel this was just drawn out, and then really fast paced at the end. I feel as though nothing really happened and then in a short couple of chapters it was over.

*****SPOILERS*****

Peanut.. I LOVED peanut on the first two books, but how she has portrayed her father and twisting to really being peanut this whole time was a drag. I feel JLA could have done a better job with this book but rushed it to have the set complete. Yes, yes I know she left it open at the end for possibly more books, but this one I honestly felt wasn’t that captivating. The second book left me in tears and this one just left me in awe at how bad it is compared to the first two.

Downgrade

The best thing about this was Lucifer. What happened JLA, what happened? I’m very disappointed by this ending.

Love this series

This was a great trilogy! great end! And a usual Jennifer had me laughing and crying. It seems like the author left it open so there could be another spin off (I'm hoping)
