Had high hopes
This book was recommended by Rob Brezsney who I read his newsletter and enjoy very much. So I guess I thought it would be better and I feel the premise could have been articulated in a paragraph, not a whole book. Honestly I really would rather have not listened to it.

excellent practical body/mind approach
Since I have also been trained in Bioenergetics, I love Jeff Brown's approach and applaud his honest and practical way of telling where he is coming from. Grounded spirituality is a way of avoiding bypassing the spiritual 'lite' that does not integrate spiritual truths fully in our bodies, memories, behaviours and beliefs. This is truly the path to fully congruent growth that aligns the physical, spiritual and relational experience. I did not enjoy the second part of the book as much, feeling a bit clubbed over the head with the concepts, but that could be because I am already so familiar with them. Over all, told well, and explained in depth. Well worth the time to read and do the exercises suggested.
