Find. Claim. Profit. In a postwar galaxy littered with scrap, it's the salvager's motto. And with a fast ship and a lust for adventure, Rion Forge has certainly made her mark on the trade. Scott Brick Ruins Halo Stories
The many tales from this installment were very much well written. However, the narration by Scott Brick all but completely tarnishes them. Every page is either growled at the listener, or delivered in an over-emotional, cracked whimper by Brick. In this listener's opinion, 343i's choice to let Scott Brick narrate a majority of their latest audiobook releases is a grave mistake. Brick's performance takes so much away from the entertainment of having Halo novel delivered to a listener.
Guys, if you actually read these, dump Scott Brick. He's awful.

nice if you read most the books of the halo series
most the stories detailed in this book are from other books in the halo series. The stories also give more information about the books which I found very enjoyable since I've read most of them already. If you are not familiar with any of the halo universe this may be a hard book to dive into.

Another great set of short stories.
Simply amazing book. Scott Brick did a great job narrating all the stories. The only downside was the stories that had cliff hanger endings that left you wanting to hear more. A must have for any fan of the halo universe.

A great book
I highly recomend it. Every story was well written and intresting with the exeption of the last one which while decent enough in its own right really threw out one of the cool mysteries of the halo universe. Spoilers. The last story confirmed that the forerunners became primitives and then died out which I think is a massive waste of oppurtunity.

Spectacular!!
Wow...
Ive heard all the halo books here from audible, i must admit I'm a bit of a fanatic.. Ive gone through the books in chronological order about 10 times from the forerunner trilogy to Halo Last Light. I love the halo universe, and it goes without saying I've been absolutely CRAVING new literature to the point where i started writing my own Halo book. Fractures contains stories that are exciting, emotional, compelling, and rich. I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves halo. The last story is such a treat. ❤️❤️

My only criticism of this collection of short stories is the lack of endings for some of them.
