Great introduction to ultra running

I’ve run half a dozen ultramarathons and what this book reminded me was that a review of the basics is extremely valuable. To be clear, this book covers more than the basics, but that’s what hit home for me.

Fantastic Information; Boring Narration

The VA is subpar. However, the information is so valuable it makes up for it.

A must have guide to ultras

A comprehensive book about how to adequately prepare for ultras. I recommend getting the audio and print versions of the book. The narration was kind of boring at time so I listened at 1.5 rate.

HORRIBLE

Worst book ever. At mile 15 of a 25 mile run, I had to turn this off. The author tries to share some good advice on ultra-running, but truthfully seems more focused on talking about himself. And his advice is questionable at best. I would not recommend AT ALL!
