À propos de cet audio
One mistake: Victor got into the wrong car. One decision: Oliver didn't kick him out. One lie: neither of them knows who the other person is—at least, not until it's too late to turn back.
There are many words for what Oliver does for a living, and none of them are very kind. Oliver's time in that industry is nearly at an end, so when a gorgeous older man with sad eyes stumbles into his path, Oliver finds it impossible to turn him away.
Victor looks at him like he's an angel, even when Oliver feels like a devil, but he knows better than to hope. After all, men like them are only ever destined for star-crossed love.
As months of separation carry on, Oliver realizes that maybe he really is willing to fight for what he wants and, more importantly, for who.
Halo is a standalone novel featuring an age gap romance, the best hot wings known to man, the merits of good gas station burritos, aquarium dates, meteor showers, lava lamp mood lighting, kissing hands, and the most hard-won happily ever after you may ever hear.

After discovering that his fiancée Alice has been cheating on him with one of his business associates, Victor decides to go on the honeymoon trip they had planned anyway. One evening, while calling for a ride to attend a hockey game he already has tickets for, he accidentally ends up in Oliver’s car. Oliver quickly realizes Victor isn’t his client, but sensing his sadness, he decides to drive him to the arena anyway, pretending to be his chauffeur.
Victor invites Oliver to join him for the game, and later that night the truth comes out — Oliver admits he’s a sex worker. Instead of pushing him away, Victor asks Oliver to spend the week with him, doing all the activities that were meant for a honeymoon that will never happen.
From there, the story becomes something deeply emotional and tender.
Both Victor and Oliver are wounded in different ways, yet they find comfort, joy, and unexpected softness in each other’s company. Their connection feels genuine and intimate. While the book isn’t extremely spicy, the intimate scenes carry strong emotional weight and vulnerability rather than pure heat.
The biggest obstacle between them isn’t a lack of feelings — it’s the distance between their worlds. Victor belongs to wealth and privilege, while Oliver fears he will never truly fit into that life. He refuses to ask Victor to leave his world behind, terrified that resentment would eventually follow. So they let each other go… even though neither of them can stop thinking about the other.
What follows is a hard-earned HEA that feels deeply deserved and incredibly beautiful.
A tender, emotional romance about loneliness, dignity, acceptance, and choosing love despite fear.
Iggy Tomas did a great job of bringing them to life!
Beautiful and emotionnal
