Publisher's Summary

I hate him. I want him. I can't stop thinking about him.

Chloe

Nice to see you, sunshine, wearing black again? Dean Maddox spent high school pushing all my buttons. Seven years later, we're working together. So much has changed, but he's the same arrogant jerk with the same penchant for teasing me senselessly. I still want to slap the cocky smirk from his face. And tear off his clothes. And kiss him like the ship is going down. I hate him. I want him. I can't.... No, I will stop thinking about him.

Dean

Seven years ago, I took Chloe's v*rginity. It was supposed to cure my cravings for the pint-sized spitfire. But now that she's working under me.... The more she glares, the more I want her. The more I tease, the more she stares. The more I brag about my Prince Albert.... Let's just say it's obvious she's picturing me naked. She owns my thoughts as much as I own hers. I should stay away. She's my subordinate. She's off-limits. But there's no way I can resist her.

Hating You, Loving You is a stand-alone enemies-to-lovers romance featuring a cocky alpha hero and the strong, sassy heroine who brings him to his knees. Come see why fans say "no one writes broken bad boys like Crystal Kaswell."

PAINFUL

The two narrators ruin this, and it just drags and drags with listening to the same thing, over and over again.

Loved it!!

I had read the previous 3 books of the series... each one is wonderful.. and each time I fall in love with one of the guys and I cannot imagine a better character... I find out how wrong I was in the next book... Dean is no exception... he had larger supporting roles in the previous 3 books.. so I think there was much more in building the anticipation of the character... I absolutely LOVE Dean... he was such a delight to watch him develop. I did enjoy Chloe as well and was happy to see that Crystal Kaswell brought in a serious topic and did so with grace & wit.

Love this escapist romance!

I rooted for the Dean - Chloe romance from the beginning. It was a predictable, but fun and easy ride. I also love, love this kind of dual narration where the male narrator does the men's voices and vice versa. The other kind of dual narration - the lesser kind - out there is designated by chapter, not by gender, so too often the male actors narrate awful female voices.

Good read but research needed .

I enjoyed this book. My only complaint was when she spoke about the breast implants and the Fine Needle Aspiration. I do not want to give too much away but it is not accurate.

Be ready to laugh

This book was so funny and one I couldn’t wait to listen to. The narration was great and gave a good feel for the characters. Though you won’t want to stop the story till it’s done cause Dean is a riot and will keep you laughing at his antics. Chloe keeps him second guessing and she’s one who as they say can give it as well as take it. This book is able to be read as a stand-alone which I enjoyed as I have been listening to them out of order and don’t feel lost when doing so.

Want more

This series is fantastic! Dean and Chloe are perfect characters. I want the series to continue, in this book it sort of hinted to another coupling, hmmm Emma? Please tell this story will be next. The narrators are great and the duet style is my all time favorite, I get most books based on duet style. Crystal Kaswell is a great writer. This is worth the credit and or a purchase.

Another Amazing Story

This book, like all of Crystal Kaswell’s books I’ve read and listened to is and enthralling story that hooks me straight into Dean and Chloe’s world. Love the enemies to lovers storyline. Some audiobooks I will just breeze through. This one I tried to listen a little at a time so I could savor the story, including the hard parts. The steamy scenes were such fun, but the tenderness they had towards each other was really something special. Definitely a book I would listen or read again. The narrators are some of my favorites, which just added to the experience. Definitely a five star listen. Thank you, Crystal.

teaser jerker!

i love Dean and have fallen more in love with him after this book! such a good guy for someone like Chloe! the story was great! made me cry a few times.. just to know what Chloe went through and is going through and how great dean was for her.. kai and wen did such an amazing job with this book. i have listened to other audiobooks and I'm not big on the guy "voicing" the girl in the chapters about him,but this, where you have both in each chapter, is amazing. made it easier to listen to as well. Crystal kaswell is one of my favorite writers! and this one just proves why!

Enemies to lovers

Another excellent addition to the Inked Hearts standalone series. I have been waiting for Dean to get his own story, watching this cocky and arrogant tattoo artist from other people's perspective in past books left me feeling like he was the commitment phobe player that never wanted the same girl twice. Except when it comes to Chloe, the one who got under his skin. Chloe is tough and resiliant, brave and fierce. She knows what she wants and that just happens to be Dean. The real issue is can she get him to stick around? The narrators were once again completely on point, making this a very enjoyable le book to listen too.

This one was amazing and I loved it!

I loved this read! The banter was funny at times And I loved how the heroine was a woman of color of KoreAn ancestry. She was super relatable and was strong but had her vulnerable moments. The last book I gave a four but I loved this one so much more so it earned a five easily. I didn't want it to be over.
