LOVE this series.

Each book in the series is different, but the author blends the stories lines together really well. I have listen to the series several times and would highly recommend it. Well worth the credit. Joel Leslie and Phillip Alces do a FANTASTIC job narrating and bringing the characters to life. The 3rd book in the series was my least favorite but still good. I have read and listen to far worse. Great job to everyone who worked on this book from the author, editor and narrator. You guys hit a home run.

Series decent but book 3 is lacking

Overall this series is good, with an engaging . Book 3 with Bill & Mace is really biothering me. For Mace a longtime hitman and Bill a tough guy seasoned crime family muscle make so many really stupid actions.. I'm trying not give any spoilers. You would think they are complete novices. This one feels so immature compared to books 1 & 2. The actions.of Bill and Mace which are playing out in this installment of series is so inconsistent with histories which makes less authentic.
