Publisher's Summary

The world is spiraling toward destruction, and one man receives a divine mandate.

Young Noah has found life good and wholesome, until he steps outside his village and discovers a world of temptation. Drawn by a beautiful woman yet repulsed by the pagan practices of her tribe's dark worship, his inner struggle keeps him in torment. Noah strains to hear the voice of God: through the warnings of a prophet, through the kind teachings of his grandfather Methuselah, through the loving concern of his family, and ultimately, through personal confrontation. The message he receives is terrifying. Will he find the courage to obey?

Opposition intensifies to the call he has received, but a precious medallion handed down from ancient times reminds him who he is: a man with a heart of a lion.

not biblical

I was excited to hear this story but was greatly disappointed. A number of inaccuracies accured throughout the story. For one, Noah's sons were triplets and only born 20 years after he started the ark. another one, no one conceived on the ark. all wombs were closed, human and beast, until they got off the ark. And God would have allowed ANYONE ELSE on the ark that repented before it was too late. no one did. which proves humankind's needing destroying.
Also, this story was written so as to be a pleasure to dirty minded sinners! Noah was a righteous man, the only righteous man left, and did NOT have such a hypocritical weakness toward a harlot. Those parts of the story were disgusting to me!! If it weren't for my curiosity for the actual flood part of the story ( which was less the 1/4 of the whole!-at the end) I would not have finished it at all. My children won't be listening to it. (I got it for them in the first place!)
p.s. There never was such an unhuman creature as the nephalim. Pure heresy! Sons of God were not angels. They were godly obedient humans. Who ended up falling away when they married unbelieving women. such actions ALWAYS result in evil ungodly descendants.
I'll be returning this story and (hopefully)trading it for one that is suitable for my children.
