About this listen

The highly anticipated conclusion to the epic and exciting Kingmaker Chronicles series

The destiny Catalia "Cat" Fisa has spent her entire life running from has finally caught up to her. But in order to truly accept her fate and become Queen of Thalyria, Cat and her dedicated husband Griffin Sinta will have to go to war with the severely oppressed Fisa - and it's violent alpha, Cat's homicidal mother.

But when Cat's magic refuses to work like it should, she has to unleash the power she's been afraid of. And when her misuse of the god's gifts lands her in Tartarus, a land reserved for eternal punishment, Cat will have to accept herself - past, present, and future - if she wants any chance of making it out alive.

I have enjoyed both the first and second book in this series. But this book is where she lost me. I couldn't even make it pass chapter ten. The constant self deprecation of the main character cat, It's just too much to bear. All she does is put herself down constantly. Putting every single blame on her. Even the the second book had some of this. But I thought I could push through and deal with it. I finished the second book. But i'm giving up on this one. I'm sure that the story line will continue to be great. But it's just too much to hear this person who is supposed to be a strong leader, Put Herself down chapter after chapter after chapter. If this is something you can put up with, The story line is pretty good.

This book is where she lost me.
