I was waiting for this to come out as an audiobook and had the date saved in my calendar. This is easily one of the best books I have ever read and the only book that has made me feel something similar to TOG the first time I read the series. The writing, world building and characters are phenomenal. The author took typical Romantasy tropes and concepts and made them SO unique!!! I am so in love with the FMC. She is relatable, bad ass and the right amount of everything. The MMC is also deeply lovable. Not your typical enemies to lovers arch either. The last 10 chapters will have you ignoring your responsibilities. Full stop. The plot twists at the end had my jaw on the floor. I had predictions based on foreshadowing but omg completely outdid my expectations. I don’t know how I am supposed to survive until the next book comes out. That cliff hanger had my jaw on the floor.
