The story is good, the narration is good, the characters are easy to root for, and the ending is satisfying and feels like it fits. It's fast paced and flows well. There were no sections that dragged or felt like filler. There were some fun ideas as far as how magic was presented. It's not super deep or anything but doesn't have to be and succeeds at being a solid fun little story.
