Story
More than two centuries after World War III poisoned the planet, the final bastion of humanity lives on massive airships circling the globe in search of a habitable area to call home. Aging and outdated, most of the ships plummeted back to Earth long ago. The only thing keeping the two surviving lifeboats in the sky are Hell Divers - men and women who risk their lives by skydiving to the surface to scavenge for parts the ships desperately need.

Story
In a shocking betrayal, Captain Rolo has vaporized the supercarrier Immortal with a nuclear warhead, all but wiping out the Vanguard army. Little does he know that King Xavier and the surviving Hell Diver and Cazador teams from Brisbane were not aboard. In Panama, Outpost Gateway has suffered a very different disaster: attack by carnivorous vines. Director Rodger Mintel sent out a desperate SOS as the voracious coils ripped into the bunker.

Story
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

Publisher's Summary
The New York Times and USA Today best-selling series
The war for the Metal Islands is over, but the search for survivors has just begun.
After a long and bloody battle, legendary Hell Diver Xavier Rodriguez reigns as the dutiful but reluctant new king of the islands. Advised by a council of former sky citizens as well as Cazadores, he works to assimilate the two societies peacefully. But not all Cazadores have accepted the new order.
While X tries to ease tensions at home, a rookie team of divers, led by Michael Everhart, returns to the skies in Discovery, formerly the ITC Deliverance. Their mission: To locate other human survivors throughout the world and rescue them. But Michael’s team aren’t the only ones searching for survivors. A gruesome discovery reveals that android defectors continue to hunt humans across the globe. And they may not be the only ones.
In a race against time, the Hell Divers may be the only obstacle to enemies bent on wiping out the final pockets of survivors and extinguishing the human genome forever.

I had to only give 4 stars for this story because too many chapters were about snakes. Gross

What a BOMBSHELL of a series!!
If you enjoy sci-fi then you got to have a listen to this series!! Right from book 1 to book 6 I have been hooked AND what's even better about this listen is that R.C.Bray is the voice behind it and what a great voice! When you have a great writer and a fantastic narrator( I could listen to him all day! and have! lol!) you end up with a BOMBSHELL of a series!! You will NOT regret your purchase should you choose to give it a try-I fully encourage you to do so and GUARANTEE that you will NOT be disappointed!! But before you start your 'listen'; make sure you have the time and lots of it because you will want to keep listening to this great 'read' from book 1 to 6 and what's even better is that the story doesn't end with book 6, oh no!! Book 7 is coming this summer of 2020 and I have already 'purchased' it with the pre-order option.....I can hardly stand the wait!!

Best HD Yet. And that’s a big deal.
Another incredible installment to the Hell Diver series that, in short, is simply amazing. Sansbury Smith has developed a truly unique version of the post apocalypse genre and part six just continues this incredibly fun and exciting journey. RC Bray, as always, creates an astoundingly realistic and easy to follow mental picture. He is the best ever. Thanks to you both. I’m just sad I have to wait for part seven. Hurry up, would ya? :)

Match made in heaven!!!!
Nicholas Sansbury Smith was born to write this series and R. C. Bray was born to give it it's voice. I've never heard a narrator more evenly matched to a series!!
Of course the story itself is absolutely fantastic. We already knew that from the first 5 books. But getting to hear it from Bray took it to another level. I had goosebumps chapter after chapter.
Thank you both for doing what you do!! But extra, extra thanks to Nick for writing such incredible stories and for being such a down to earth and supportive author!!

the ride gets better as the story goes on.
NSS knows how to tell a story. just when you think your getting close to end and there is no way it can continue Nic finds a way to keep adding with out over doing it and getting repetitive. book 6 tells the story of 2 totally different walks of life coming together inspite of their differences and the troubling peace that some cant accept. sit back and enjoy the ride that is hell divers. I love this series and look forward to the next book. until then we dive so humanity survives.

Another action packed story that not only blows you away, but leaves you wanting more. Fast passed and set in a world where no one is safe, this book grabs from the first sentence and only lets go with the final word. Very few series are all perfect 10s but Hell Divers is certainly of the select few.

Great addition to the series!
Love this series and this book just opened a whole new adventure. X, the Immortal is now King X, a role he never wanted but is determined to do to the best he can. It’s not an easy role trying to join two group who so recently were enemies fighting and killing each other. There’s a civil war brewing and X has to keep it at bay., because there are even more new threats in the horizon.
Threats both machine and man and the only chance Humanity has is to bind together and face it together, but how does X make that happen when so many are focused on revenge and willing to cut off their noses to spite the face?
I have no idea how, but I’m sure Nicholas Sansbury Smith does, so I’m just gonna trust him. The death toll is high in this book and the enemies numerous, but understandably so. It’s sadly a true commentary of how man vs man is so destructive to humanity as a whole. Amazing story and journey.
RC Bray does and amazing job narrating once again.

My favorite story in this series!
The world building in Hell Divers 6 is off-the-charts. Full of intrigue, subterfuge and betrayal. Post-apocalyptic earth is an even scarier place than the “sky people” realized. X is trying to make the best decisions possible to maintain the fragile peace between the two cultures and hell is breaking loose on a variety of fronts. Hell Divers has always been an action-packed series, but Allegiance takes that to a whole new level. I’m really looking forward to the next book.
