As a survivor of domestic violence I must say at first it was emotional listening to this book, as so many thoughts & suppressed memories resurfaced, it was an intense, breath-holding, faint cry, with hurt, sadness, shame, regret, remorse tied in with love, passion, kind, safe, brave, wants & desire, giving hope, strength, happiness & freedom during such horrific, devastating, darkest moments alongside new beginning’s & brightest journeys still to come.
Thank You to the author for putting words to a story that so many woman have lived but don’t have the right words or can’t say the words themselves, and to the narrators for capturing the meaning of the story bringing it to life..!

it was so sad to read some parts and to know that this kind of abuse exists in the world 🌎. I love Jackson's character and that he is so lifting and protective. Great story! Kept me guessing and hoping for good to triumf over evil.
