the story is nice, but the narration is fast

I do not mean the narrator speaks fast, though I have listened to all the books of this series (same narrator) at 0.9x. I mean that there are few pauses. Many times, she continues as if it was the same phrase, only for me to realise half a minute later that it was another scene entirely.

Another great tale

I really enjoyed Simon’s story although I still want more of a damsel in distress I stead of so many woman bosses. I mean I don’t want a stupid helpless woman but either way the seeing the era, I sure would like a nice big strong man to be between the pages
