Well put together and well read. Wish there were more to listen to when the last one was done. Helps to see that not all histories are as we had been taught and how things have been construed most often for political opinions of the time.

I was sceptical on what sort of track these episodes would take. But as I listened I found myself more and more intrigued and wanting to hear other examples.

The episodes are not a right/left wing revisionism of history they are a deep dive into how cultures from our distant to recent past have used history.

Extremely thought provoking. I do hope they release a second season!

Dominic Sandbrook is fantastic. The podcast he co-hosts with Tom Holland is one of my favourites and this limited series is equally addictive. Only wished there were more episodes!

I thoroughly enjoyed this, so much so that I'm disappointed there are only 6! I dislike reading history so I listen to it and these angles of history were captivating.

nice to get another perspective. not saying I'd agree with everything presented but I think that's the point of this whole series is there is usually more than one side to the stories of history.

A great reminder of how history is edited according to who wrote it.

All of know that the truth is defined by who told the story. And yet we still follow our history books as though they were a gospel rendition of times gone by.
