Rollercoaster of emotions
Damon breaks my heart from the start. Alpha males are so full of pride but man do they feel at a 11. Beth is so immature and so frustrating.

Excellent
when you listen to this book and think you have a déjà vu. You aren’t where are you. Halfway through chapter 27 they somehow re-copied some of chapter 26 in there. So she’ll have met her dad at graduation then halfway through chapter 27 they’re getting ready for graduation. So don’t worry if you think you’re losing it somehow they have it repeated in there.
The narrator Joe Arden is fantastic.

Meh 🫤 . Ok
I can’t remember the last time I endured a book. The entire series could have been one book, it felt too protracted. I kept waiting for something really exciting but I nothing hit me. The idea of the storyline is understandable, past trauma, betrayal, lack of trust etc but gosh! The neediness is cringeworthy. Not one of favourite books /series. Sorry
