Lack luster

The story kept my interest throughout the entire book. However I kept hoping she would just leave the son of a B. The ending is lack luster and ends with a thud. It could have been a lot better. The characters are interesting and the dialogue is good. Again...the story just never really ends...which is not great.

Not a psychological thriller<br />

I listened expecting this to be twisty and dark. Although, twisty in it's own way, it was not thrilling. I will say it makes an interesting statement about relationships, honesty and expectations

WOW...WELL DONE

You know those stories that you can’t judge until you’ve heard all the facts? On the surface, you think one thing but when you dig deeper, it’s another. Well, this book is exactly that. Filled with the right amount of drama to keep you interested while absolutely knowing this scenario could actually happen.
Must read!

Another Lucy Dawson hit!

This book was engaging and easy to get wrapped up in. It did not turn out at all like I expected. I love the plot twists and turns of Lucy Dawson books and this was no exception!

Great narrator

... and I chose the book for the narrator, knowing Georgia from BA Paris’ books. This story is nowhere near the gripping suspense, so, disappointing.

Greatly enjoyed this!

I was a little hesitant on getting this book as it seemed to have some mixed reviews, with some people loving it and others saying it was boring. I'm very choosy about what books I listen to and if they don't wow me, I usually don't bother finishing them as I feel they are not worth my time. I decided to take a chance on this one as I've been a little discouraged about the last few books I've tried and couldn't get into them. I am very glad I did! I liked the main character right away, seeing her as an every day kind of woman, like us all, and could easily sympathize with her when she suspects her boyfriend is cheating.
I finished this book in 2 days, listening every moment I could! I felt bad for the main character at the end, I won't disclose why but will only say she is desperate to be loved and thought she'd finally achieved it but we can see otherwise. I would recommend this book, well worth a credit!!!

Very Vanilla

I found it difficult to stay interested. Not exactly a terrible book, but oh so forgettable. Disappointing as I really enjoyed another book by the same author.

Great Great Great

It has been a very, very long time, since I’ve enjoyed a book this much. The writing is fantastic, the narration was perfect for the character, and overall the story was very relatable (though, not every unhinged idea that pops into your head, should be acted on). I truly enjoyed the fact that the emotions Mia went through, were spot on, and for that very reason, I laughed out loud at several points, and could completely (sadly) relate to the gut wrenching pain, of loving and trusting someone, so securely, that you don’t even think it is possible, that they could look you in the eye, and lie to your face; smooth as butter. When in fact, it’s margarine.
There are some stories, that can only really come across with this much impact, if the storyteller has lived through it themselves.
I wouldn’t call this one a psychological thriller, at all. Just a completely relatable, and a totally addicting read.
