Publisher's Summary

She’s the last woman on earth I’d marry...again. Yet here I am. Saying my vows. Again. To save an alpaca.

At least, that’s my story. But the truth might be a little more complicated. I didn’t want to let her go the first time. But now I have a second chance to win over my wife.

We’re older. Wiser. And hornier. This time, I won’t fail.

Hitched is a red-hot enemies-to-lovers laugh-a-palooza featuring a girl in need of a marriage of convenience and a man in need of a cold shower to keep from falling for his fake wife. They say opposites attract, but with Blake and Hope, they also combust....

This audiobook includes the bonus novella Friends with Bang-i-fits by Lili Valente, narrated by Jason Clarke and Lili Valente.

I thought this was supposed to be a rom-com

This was not humorous, funny nor witty. I forced myself to get half way through and had to return it. I read the reviews, which I’m starting to believe are planted, because no way was this laugh out loud (or snicker in silence) funny. Can someone suggest a site that isn’t bought and paid for? Do not waste your money!

LILI & PIPPA’S WACKY WORLD = PURE COMEDY GOLD

This was a fun, light, sweet dual POV Rom Com with some drama, a dash of angst and a lot of one-sided rejecting of a romantic relationship between two people who’d already been there, done that.. and got the divorce papers to prove it. Hope needs to get married quickly and Blake is her last and only hope.. otherwise there’s no hope of Hope keeping her precious (and valuable) alpaca Chewbaca out of her greedy Cousin’s hands . However, the quirky crazy animal lover comes with parental ‘baggage’ which stops her seeing/acknowledging her new husband’s unflinching adoration.. and her energy fries electronics when she’s stressed too which adds to her problems. But slowly their friendship over the years + their sizzling chemistry + the hero’s selfless actions and unwavering commitment to help her + his loving family = true love.

Worth a credit? Yes, if you’re looking for an endearing book that’s not at all serious, that’s totally far fetched, that’s got a comical frolicking storyline, that’s based in small town Happy Cat, that has lol humorous scenes and a dash of steam.. then this fun fake marriage fiasco is surely going to steal your heart. Great narration too by Virginia and Jacob who brought all the crazy scenes and characters to life.

I made a tiny mistake

Yes I loved it but this was book 3 on the interconnected standalone book series of the happy cat characters, while it didn't take away from this hilarious enemies to lovers story I still robbed my self of the happy ending book 2 holds because this one have me a glimpse into the life of the 2 previous couples.

in end love it, recommend it, this was light and not over dramatic with loads of animal fun.

Hilarious all around!

I love fake marriage stories, but when it includes adorable pets with the most awesome names is even better! I’m so happy to return to Happy Cat and read the story of Hope and Blake! Hope, with all her “superpowers” and absolute love and care for her animals, and Blake set on showing her that family is not only blood but those who love, respect, and value you. A great book to read, laugh and love!

Hysterical

Lili Valente and Pippa Grant join forces once again and produce romantic comedy gold!
In this latest book, we return to the silly and appropriately named town of Happy Cat to find love for two more of its residents. Blake and Hope have a long and complicated history with each other but all feelings will be put aside for the sake of saving an alpaca. But not just any alpaca, Chewpaca is a well sought after alpaca known for his impressive sperm. And if Hope can't find herself a husband quickly, Chewpaca and all of the other animals under Hope's care will be taken away. Leave it to Blake O'Dell to save the day and the animal sanctuary. Now he just has to keep his true feelings for Hope from ruining their marriage.
The narrators are simply perfection, bring all of the humor and love into these outrageous characters.

Blake and Hope - a hilarious and swoony marriage of convenience

Blake and Hope’s story is swoony perfect. I love wounded heroines - probably because they seem to deserve a happy ending the most and Hope has some deep wounds. This book is for all the men and women that believe the lie that they are inherently unworthy of beautiful, sweet, fairytale love. Jacob Morgan and Virginia Rose bring the story to life with their narration. This is the third book in the Happy Cat series - the quirky town that’s home to a sex toy factory and a lovable bunch of townspeople and animals. Blake owns a vineyard in town and while waiting for his tasting license he been working odd jobs including fixing all the electronics Hope seems to short out. Hope owns an animal rescue farm full of abandoned animals and one prize winning alpaca. Blake and Hope seem to have a hate-hate relationship with each other that also includes a secret previous marriage. In order to keep the alpaca safe from being inherited by Hope’s money grubbing cousin, Hope needs a husband and Blake agrees to marry her again. But this time he’s planning on keeping her even if she doesn’t know it yet. This book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, fan your face steam, side splitting hilarity, tearful scenes, slight danger and mystery, an adorable alpaca, and all kinds of heart squeezing love - expect to laugh, to swoon, and to cry. Hope’s feelings of being less than were palpable and the way that Blake keeps loving on her is so sweet and beautiful. While the book is quite funny, it also has three dimensional characters, witty dialogue and an engaging storyline. I am loving Happy Cat and cannot wait to hear the story of the last O’Dell brother.

Marriage of Convenience??

Hope and Blake were married once before, and now here they are again needing to get married so Blake can get his winery off the ground and Hope can save her families farm and their prized breeding Alpaca, Chewpaca. After Hopes grandmother passes away, she finds it was written in the will that the first of the cousins to get married will have possession of the farm and, more specifically, the prized breeding Alpaca Chewpaca. Hope cares for the farm and the animals as if they are her children. she even got Chewpaca a friend, Too-Pac. Blake let Hope go once before, but he is not going to let her go this time. Now he just needs to let Hope know.

I don't know what I loved more, Hope and Blake or the Alpacas, 😂😂. These books are a perfect escape from reality, the shenanigans are just so out there but you can't help but really hope to see it and picture it in your head. As always, Jacob Morgan and Virgina Rose were a perfect pair. and Jacobs Alpaca Epilogue at the end almost got me in an accident from laughing so hard. I had to pull off the road to collect myself.
