I had a hard time with the narrator's constantly quavering voice. It felt like she was acting (telling me how to feel) instead of letting me decide. It was hard to get through but story was okay.

Every word is exactly where it's meant to be, Clear, precise, and utterly original, just released from its shell and already a classic. Therese Plummer delivers a pitch-perfect performance without flaw. Having read one Ben H Winters, all I want now is more Ben H Winters.

I liked the beginning and the twist, there was alot of the plot that didn't make any sense. For example, how did an 80 year old who has been beaten senseless get up and kill a fit young man in the prime of life with a gun.

I love this genre, so many unknowns to discover and twists just when you think you have it figured out. This story was unique and i thoroughly enjoyed it.

I love it! The suspense and turn of events got me in so deep. There was at one point that I jumped on my sit thinking I was in the story too lol. Must read!

…this sci-fi novella is as if Stephen King and Rod Serling had hands in putting together “Back To The Future,” but not with a game plan of fixing your past…per se. To explain more would spoil this fast-paced and sinister thriller about a woman who tries to rescue herself from a painful future…and what it takes to secure success. Therese Plummer is a great narrator and this is a solid story with a decent ending. Definitely check it out!
