A sweet slow burn of a romance. I do enjoy that lesbian romances are more likely to have heroines over 30 or so. Both characters are in their early 50s, which is a bit older than I usually see even in the sapphic world of literature. I love the way Anna seems to collect strays of the human variety and give them the love they deserve.
