Publisher's Summary
A visit to the serene coastal town of South Cove, California, could make anybody feel refreshed and inspired. But as Jill Gardner - owner of Coffee, Books, and More - discovers, some folks won't live to tell about it....
Mystery author Nathan Pike checked into South Cove Bed & Breakfast to compose a compelling novel, not commit murder. But things get real when a rival B & B owner ends up exactly like the victim in his draft - undeniably dead. As Nathan prepares to complete his magnum opus behind bars, Jill's the only one who can prove his innocence and deconstruct the plot of a twisted killer.

I'm done
This might be my last book in this series. Jill and her aunt are annoying and judgemental. Jill has no reason to but into other people's business or investigate a murder. The people in the town are also do beginning to annoy me. Nothing about this series is realistic.

This book was all over the place, but in a good way
There were a lot of things going on in this book. It kept the reader guessing as to which way the plot was going to go. I actually liked it better than the rest of her books. The narrator does have a problem with everyone sounding like 90 year old women, but it doesn't effect the story!

Bk 8--still going strong
Book 8 is a progressive addition to the series, giving it a boost in the storyline. Love is in the air as Jill Gardner is a busy store owner while attending college and --and--and. Which doesn't leave as much time for her snooping. The pace is constant. Crimes the didn't even know they were solving were solved.
Susan Boyce's narration brings you back to South Cove.
This series, has become a friend I visit everytime another book is released. We need the next book sooner rather then waiting so long.

Murder Script
When an author comes to South Cove to write his next book, the mayor makes Greg host him at the police station. Then a local inn owner is tied to The Judas Tree and his throat is cut. A murder mystery and a child has gone missing when a wave pulled him into the ocean. Plus Greg has ask Jill the let’s live together question. Lot to keep track of.

I love this series of stories. The characters are funny and loveable. Well, except for the murderer.

Best One Yet!
I’ve read every book in the series and this one is best. Excellent narration, fantastic mystery, and gut-wrenching emotion. Loved every second.

Fun story, another great listen from Lynn Cahoon
These are the best commute stories, hating to only have one more left in the current series. this one has filled several months of commuting for me.

fun summer read
I liked the book as something fun to distract me instead of watching TV. A cozy mystery with a great cast of characters.
