When a terribly foxed Nate accidentally compromises Sophie, Charlotte strikes a wicked bargain: in order to avoid a scandal and the parson's mousetrap, Nate must help Sophie snare a husband. But as Nate fulfills his obligation and begins to instruct the lovely Sophie in the art of luring rakes, he soon finds himself battling his own fierce attraction to her.

This was a great story - really good characters with interesting back stories and hot chemistry! I love that the story wasn’t predictable and the heroine was believable.

I enjoyed listening to this story, the audio is done extremely well, fully capturing emotion and sentiment. I simply love Amy Rose Bennett’s voice! She tells a story that captures you and sucks you in. Nate is a hero filled with anguish and brooding angst, utterly refusing to fall in love and equally blind when it does in fact happen. Sophie is an eternal optimist, ever true to her own heart. The pain of denial was so strong I literally felt it to the bone. I loved the back story of the Disreputable Debutantes, disgraced when caught with naught literature, cigars and alcohol… a typical boarding school scandal that marks each of the girls and sets the tone for this series. It is fun and daring and a little wicked, which is a fabulous start if to ask me. Can’t wait to read more!
