Publisher's Summary

David Mitchell and Robert Webb tackle various subject matters in a 'How to Cope with...', a guide talking you through every day scenarios and situations. The subject matters discussed are How to Cope with... Being Normal; Pubs; Being Dumped, Parts 1 and 2; Coffee; Malmaison Hotels; Nudists; The Smoking Ban; Actors; Servants; and Getting Older.

This recording doesn't need to remind us just how great Mitchell and Webb are as a comedy duo, and will by no means need to even attempt at getting the listener's attention once the play button is pressed, but will simply show us once more everything we know and love about Mitchell and Webb and why their quirky hilarity and foibles work so well together.

For example: How to cope with Actors. Try "not be put off by their luvvie-ness" and "do not assume that all actors are all thick...Stephen Fry is an actor and also a world class boffin. David Mitchell's GCSE results are very impressive."

Dazzlingly Funny!

Another first-rate outting for comedy team Mitchell and Webb! I have yet to be disappointed by the material from this duo. David Mitchell's diatribe on Malmaison hotels had me laughing out loud on the subway. Be sure to try this one, as well as anything else--audio or video--from M&W. You will have an hour's worth of laughs from "How to Cope..." Enjoy!

I wish there were more!

Mitchell and Webb alternate stories in this hour-long book about how to cope with a variety of issues. I would listen to seven more hours of this and hope they write another book like this. I'm currently listening to Mitchell's "Backstory" and recommend it as well!

P.S. You don't have to be a fan of Mitchell or Webb to enjoy this book. It stands on its own two feet.

Hillarious!

That was a great laugh, especially the chapters on coffee and being dumped. One or two jokes don't translate too well if you're not English (I didn't really get the Mal Maison hotel bit) but overall it's great.

love Mitchell & Webb

that being said, this is not their best work. has the feel of ac"contactual album." Not recommended unless you are a completist.

Wish it was a little longer! So funny.

Their observations on life are just too richly good to not have more of them! I knew nothing about these guys, but I enjoy British humor, so gave them a shot. so glad I did.
I want more.

Super short

Less than an hour long as they seem to only chose a small selection of a much larger written work
