Can't wait for the last book to come out.

Story is getting so good, I am listening to the books back to back now. I just love this series, the story, the characters and the humor. I was laughing my butt off in the car on my way to work this morning. I can't wait until Sept for the final book to come out. This will be a series that I will listen to again and try to get all the people I know to read it. The gravy on top is listening to the very animated voice of David Tennet.

It just gets better and better

The music between chapters has improved and I enjoyed listening to it.
David Tennant's rendering continues to set the bar almost unreachably high.
Cressida Cowell's ability to write a modern day, good old fashioned hero's journey with all the peril, belly laughing humor and unexpected turns which bring all things to good is unparalleled!
Perfect whether one is 6 or 60 years of age.
I know, I've been both! :-)
I cannot wait to see how it all will end.

We loooooove these books

Author, amazing. Narrator, amazing. Can’t recommend enough. We listen to these with our kids and I listen to them on my own too. Probably the first fiction book I have picked up in 15 years.

AWESOME, AMAZING & MUST READ SERIES!

This is an AWESOME and Amazing book! And I can not wait to read along with the audio the sequel. But in the mean time I can re-read this AMAZING story again and again until then. The auther is BRILLIANT! And if you haven't read her other series of books then you are missing out! Because they are beautiful, fun and filled with magic all around! This is one series that everyone at every age should read at least once. Also the final movie is about to be released and it looks AMAZING! And NOT disappointing.

Delightful

It's possible that we would have loved these books had they been read by someone else, but I'm glad we don't have to find out. David Tennant is outstanding. As far as audio performances go, this one is rivaled only by the Winnie the Pooh stories read by Judy Dench, Stephen Dry and Michael Williams and there were three of them rather than just the one reader. If you even remotely like the How to Train your Dragon movie, these audiobooks are a sure thing.
