A lot of good information but end is dated

As someone who never learned to interact with others in healthy or meaningful ways, this book had a lot of great suggestions and examples. My only "eeeh" moment was the final section in the marriage chapter. It feels very dated and reminds me of my Grandmother's schoolbook in which she was taught to do her nails before her husband came home. I feel the information still applies but could be delivered in another way that doesn't encourage perpetual sacrifices on behalf of the marriage.

Otherwise, I found it very helpful for interpersonal communication with friends, family, and coworkers.
