So I liked this story! It’s cute, fluffy, a good small town/cowboy romance. But I don’t like the FMC, she’s pretty emotionally constipated and her dialogue is too blasé. I’d say the dialogue in general could use some depth. But the narrators are fabulous and the story is fun. So I’d recommend this book if you have the patience for a good story, but an indifferent FMC

This book was my favourite read of 2025. The audio made me love it even more! Sean Master was perfect for Declan and Victoria Moyen did a fantastic job as Hadley.
Declan and Hadley fell in love at first sight and their story felt so genuine. There were so many heartfelt moments that felt raw and real but they also made me swoon. 😍 I will come back to this book many times over. I can’t wait for book 2 in the series!
