Steve's soothing voice amplifies the story. it is an easy to follow listen. Before this book I knew nothing about humanism. Now that I know so much I find my beliefs and values reflected. I was raised Roman Catholic. I became an atheist when I was 9 years old. Being Mohawk I have practiced spiritually but I kind of felt like a square peg in a round hole. After reading Steve's book I performed a Google search to learn more abput the Windsor chapter of Humanism Canada. maybe I will find a place that I fit.

Steve nails humanism in this book. His raw account of his experiences coupled with his feelings and his outlook on raising his kids with his partner makes this for an incredible read. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to explore the world of secular humanism.
