I really enjoyed the story. It wasn't as I expected. it was a bit confusing with the jumping around in a few chapters but as long as you follow the story closely, it does eventually fit perfectly together.

Single narrative

I hate books that list two narrators thus promising two pov’s but you only hear the second, usually male pov for the early all of the book. I’m not sure why the author lists a reader that never reads, such a disappointment. I choose my romance audio book, based on the dual or duet pov’s so feel cheated when 2 are promised but only 1 until chapter 13 out of 15 is heard. That being said I love this series but would have appreciated hearing Jake’s pov, like why their first night ended the way it did.

I enjoyed the story…but I have never heard a man use the word yeah so much. Yeah, the story was very enjoyable, but it was really difficult hearing Jake say yeah after every paragraph. If you can overlook Jake saying yeah, then you will enjoy the story too… yeah
