Publisher's Summary

Standing on the balcony, outside my boss's apartment, wearing only my underwear? Not how I expected to start my Saturday morning. I guess I should've thought harder about going home with my sexy new gym instructor, especially since I had no idea the guy was married.

When he pushed me outside five seconds before his wife walked through the door, I jumped one balcony over. I thought it would be less embarrassing for a total stranger to find me than his wife. That was a smart move.

So here I am, wearing next to nothing and freezing my ass off, staring through the living room window at my young, sexy, and very intimidating boss, Chase Winston. I have two choices: I can sit here and try to think of another way out of this and risk dying of hypothermia, or I can suck it up and knock on that window. After a long, internal argument with myself, I choose option two. Here goes nothing....

Contains mature themes.

Way better than the first

The performance seemed better. And I saw some criticisms about how the characters acted but I really didn't see a problem with it. [Possible spoiler but refers to book description:
(For example, she wasn't saving Jake exactly - she was embarrassed about being taken for a fool and thankfully didn't do something very dangerous a second time. Plus a bit drunk and tired.)]
I enjoyed this story. Though it makes me wonder if men really do think about sex that much. Probably.

Gotta love an office romance.

Excellent narration. Loved the characters. I had some different thoughts on how I would have handled the ex situation but that's just me I guess. There sure were lots of laughs throught this book.

Cute and spicy

Her boss overheard her talking about wanting to do inappropriate things to him 😆 then she’s all he can think about.

The book is cute and there’s some funny parts and spicy but I couldn’t help but get really annoyed with his lies.

They start dating and things are going well but be asked her to go on a work trip with him but it’s not a work trip it’s his brother’s wedding to his ex wife. It just felt like a forced storyline to have him lie to her when obviously she was going to figure it out. The book ends fine but the first book was much better

Makes no sense

Jumping balconies to save Jake from shame? Makes no sense. what help him save face from cheating? Choosing shame in front of your boss vs a lying cheating ass?
The brother situation, is lame. Brothers taking wives and being ok with it?
Why? Ridiculous storyline.

Woah slow down

Everything moved waaaayyy to fast in this story, there is zero build up whatsoever. Plus it weirdly skips over scenes that should help to develop the plot. The areas where you would expect dramatic moments are just hand waved away.
