Excellent

This devotional audiobook compilation of Corrie Ten Boom's radio messages is absolutely wonderful. She is one of my very favorite heroes of the Christian faith. Her faith and her relationship with God are so genuine and inspirational. In this book, she answers the question one man asked her "What makes Jesus Christ more a reality for you than for me?" That's what I love about listening to Ms. Ten Boom speak-in her day to day life, Jesus is real to her. Susie Sandager does a great job with her narration. I can imagine Corrie Ten Boom speaking directly to me, encouraging me, correcting me...

Corey - and her family are inspiring

Would you listen to I Stand at the Door and Knock again? Why?

I have had many issues with Audible and this book - I must listen again and again!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Her father and of course Corey and her mother. Our families mother was such a saint - with 16 children - none of which treated others without great respect, did not do drugs, did not steal, 3 did serve their country - 1 Air Force - 28 years, 1 Army - 40 years both had 2 and 4 tours in Nam, 1 Army - 4 years in Germany and France.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Corey and Mother Theresa

Love the narration

What an inspiring, beautiful, soul satisfying book! I even listen to it when I nap, so the Spirit can minister to me through my ears when I sleep. Highly recommend this for anyone struggling with sadness, grief, depression... and all others! Even if you are filled with joy, Jesus’ teaching through Corrie will lift your heart higher.

Wonderful book

Any additional comments?

I loved this book. I am an avid reader do WWII books, and am a Christian. The strength of Corrie and her sister amazed me. They could see Christ in everything that happened to them. They were able to show Christ to many during a harrowing time in concentration camps. This book has inspired me to rely on Christ more, & look for opportunities to show Christ's love to others.

One of my forever favorites!

What made the experience of listening to I Stand at the Door and Knock the most enjoyable?

I loved this book because it was really Corrie telling her stories. I loved her voice and her accent as well. It felt like the grandmother that everyone needs, sitting down to tell you truths about Jesus Christ. What a precious gift.

What a great meditation! Just the book that I needed to hear after the Hiding Place! Know that you are selected by God! His Armor will give you His Strength and Power to press through whatever you are going through! Praise God! His Grace! His Mercy!
