A memoir with side commentaries from the author

This is the second of Anna's books that I have enjoyed. This is the first time I have listened to one of her books. My favourite part of this book was actually what wasn't in the book. The little sidebars where Anna takes her listeners aside like we're old friends sitting on a comfy couch stuffing our faces with homemade brownies straight from the oven not only made this book stand out from other memoirs I have listened to, but made me wish we were friends in real life. Anna has a candor and ability to make the reader laugh and cry (sometimes both in the space of 5 minutes)which is truly a God given talent. I laughed to myself, shed many a tear and thoroughly enjoyed my commute to and from work due to Anna's audiobook. Thank you for sharing pieces of your life with us. I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone with a pulse.
