Story
Ever since Ruby was tiny, she has been unique. Her smiles are magically rare, and she likes things done in a very particular way - her blocks are always color-coded, and her toy animals stand in regimented lines. She’s also the daughter of Sara’s dreams - even on days when being a mother to a three-year-old is exhausting. Not everyone understands Ruby like Sara does though. Not Sara’s husband Mike, and certainly not her disapproving mother-in-law, Barbara. So when circumstances force their family to move in with Barbara, Sara knows it’s going to make motherhood even harder.

Publisher's Summary
It started out as an ordinary day for Esther Comely-Cox, if you consider simultaneously totaling your car, smashing a Ho Ho in your face, and meeting a handsome doctor ordinary.
Estranged from her family over her sister's mental illness and death, Esther can't help but feel alone. And when Esther hears the voice of her twin sister who committed suicide seven years ago, she begins to question her own sanity, leading her to wonder if anything is what it seems. Searching for answers, Esther must confront her past while looking towards a new future; one in which she is finally accepted.
Through humor and heartbreak, Esther learns that blood does not mean family, that absence does not make the heart grow fonder, and that silence can speak volumes.

Depth and hunour
Dysfunctional family, mental illness, romance, humour, suspense, hot doctors and creamy cakes. A fantastic chick lit novel, a little on the darker side, that kept me guessing the whole way through with the twists and turns it took. I found Esther likable and relatable. I enjoyed Kathryn's writing style and have another of hers lined up to read already.
I listened to the audiobook edition, which I received free in exchange for an honest review. The narrator was fantastic, adding to the story.

Excellent!
If you could sum up I'm Still Here in three words, what would they be?
Held my interest.
What was one of the most memorable moments of I'm Still Here?
When Esther is sitting on the cold concrete wondering why OK didn't text her back, and Rob pulls up.
Which character – as performed by Lisa Beacom – was your favorite?
OK
Any additional comments?
This had a very interesting plot and the author did an excellent job of portraying the characters in depth. I felt like I knew them by the end of the book. The narrator brought all of the characters to life and did several accents very well. Highly recommended!

A Great Emotional Story!!!!
Wow. What an emotional roller coaster. This audiobook really had me hooked from start to finish. It gave me all the emotions, especially anger. That was mostly thrown to Esther's so called parents. It also somewhat went to her sister, her other half. I absolutely love O.K, he was just absolutely perfect for Eather. This story is a must listen or read.
