I really expected more of Rundell after SuperInfinite. I realise this is book with a different target audience. But still. It felt like a LOT of other books. The biggest problem was the reader in my view. When the hero of your novel is a young woman/teenager, selecting a male reader was, ummm, risky, adventurous. And for me it did not work. She also telegraphs the big reveal. It was obvious who the immortal was for a scandalous amount of time.
