Story
There are silent, yet powerful, ingredients missing from current horse training, riding, and natural horsemanship instruction. In her research of horsemen and women who have a gift with horses, Dr. Susan Fay outlines the invisible things these equestrians do that make their interactions with horses seem effortless. As a research scientist and life-long equestrian, Dr. Fay spent more than two decades searching for scientific explanations for why some people are able to develop seemingly spiritual relationships with horses.

Her work is inspiring.
This is about thinking about the whole picture. not a manual of which aids to use. It's more about how to shift your perspective.

Karen is BRILLIANT!
So many times during this reading, I have thought "Of course! Why didn't I think of it that way?!" I wish I could have Karen taking in my ear always!!! The next time I ride though, she will be there with me because I'll bring Audible along for my Dressage practice too! Thank you Karen and thank you Audible!!! Brilliant!!!!

Made Me Tear Up :)
I love the author's approach to horsemanship and her approach to teaching. This book made me tear up several times due to the chord it struck in me. I love it and I have recommended it to several friends. It's a bit short but I loved it.

Karen never disappoints!!
If you are wondering how much you can REALLY get from a horse book on audible, put those fears aside- Karen goes over the important topics that many never talk about in a way that is easy to listen and fun. I could listen for just ten minutes while doing barn chores and it set me up for a great ride!!!

A fabulous ebook
There are so many valuable pieces of information in this short ebook that are invaluable to training our horses. Much of this information is not mentioned in daily lessons, but is a key ingredient to being successful with our horses. A great listen/read.

Fantastic! I wish everyone was as enlightened as Karen Rohlf
I absolutely love this book and think every rider should listen as a prerequisite to interacting with horses. So much of riding is feeling and sensing like an silent conversation. This book perfectly materializes those conversations and makes one consider how much of an impact we have on our partners and ways we all can improve. Karen’s description of roundness is something I grew up understanding but rarely see nowadays. I hope this book can enlighten many riders for the benefit of their horses. Karen Rohlf is one of the few people I would trust with my horse.

Nailed it!
Karen is a master at explaining things “for the rest of us”. She has deep empathy for both the student and the horse which shines through in this book. If you want harmony (which who doesn’t?!) with your horse then listen to these words, absorb them and LIVE them!

Loved it
I completely subscribe to this unconventional approach to working with your horse and I felt validated having such an experienced trainer tell me so. Im going to start recommending it to others, it's sad how people don't see you can communicate with these amazing creatures.
