Publisher's Summary

Insatiable Wives was the first book to explore the unique and secretive world of wife-sharing. In this groundbreaking work, Dr. Ley explores why and how some men not only allow but encourage their wives to pursue sexual relationships with other men. Long before the term cuckold was a common word thrown around in the media, Ley explored the history and science of cuckolding. Filled with fascinating interviews of real-life couples, historical narratives, and biological and psychological research, Insatiable Wives remains the foundational scholarly work explaining the motivations and experiences of wives who sleep with other men.

Fabulous book!!

Great narration by the sexy librarian my goodness, couldn’t have been more perfect! And this book is a wealth of information full of research, interviews and stores, science, and a ton of history that really gives the reader a depth of knowledge and experience in understanding the world of non-monogamous relationships, cuckolding, and hot wifing. An excellent read, super interesting, and I learned a ton!

very well unpacking of a controversial topic

good mix of research and couples interviews. very nicely read by Rose. at times feels a bit far fetched to compare humans to rats or voles on this particular topic, but I understand the desire to find analogs in mammalian research.

Academic Enjoyment

Rose Caraway excellently narrates a fascinating, poignant, and sometimes hilarious series of essays and testimonials on the subject of non-monogamy by Dr. David J. Ley.

It was an ok book

I thought the book was ok, some decent information and worth the listen. The narrator was good until she would use the little girl voice when doing the parts of the women. I found that kind of gross and it ruined the book. Just my opinion
