Oh the benefits you will reap!!

There have been some doubters, shamers, nay-sayers posting reviews about this book. Happy to see that the majority of them have been called out for not even having read the book!!
Just the idea of fasting, especially in the American culture, is daunting. Dr. Cole breaks EVERYTHING down in layman's terms, so even the high-level science aspects are easy to comprehend. We Americans have a snack addition, and it is literally killing usI Do just a little research on how countries all over the world eat, and you will understand how addicted we are to packaged foods and refined sugars. We are our own worst enemy.

If you bought the physical copy of the book, great! You can read it and have the recipes and nutrient breakdowns right there at your fingertips. I do invite you to listen to the audible version that he narrates himself. At the risk of sounding corny, you can feel the conviction in his voice that this lifestyle is neither scary nor difficult and, most importantly, that it can be personalized for everyone based on their limits, existing conditions, and goals.
Whatever your health goals are, there are so many proven benefits to letting your body/your gut heal itself through autophagy. This plan is exactly what it says: flexible! Try it before you shame it!

Such a great wealth of information

I just adore Dr Cole! This book has such a great wealth of information on how to reset your metabolic flexibility. He gives such detailed information about pathways and the science. I love that he always address is the mind and the spiritual connection to the body. I especially like the in-depth discussion of the various types of tea and their benefits.

Amazing guide to a better you!

I like that this book is informative and is a GUIDE, and not a rule-book. And I like the flexibility of this way of eating and LIVING. I listed to the book through audible and already want to listen to all of it again. Just amazing. Thank you Dr. Cole.
