Was this book very much hyped up? Yes.

Was I late to the game picking it up? Yes.

But I needed to finish it before fall was official here and I really waited until the last minute.

This book made me so weary when it came time to pick it up. I listened to it on audible and loved that it was done by one author not two.

I heard many reviews saying they predicted the ending and the last 25% bored them. For me I cannot agree, yes you could tell where things were heading but it was not super obvious. Too me at least.

My heart ached for both charterers at the end and I loved the growth both of them made.

I also enjoyed the sister bond and I’m ecstatic that the next book is about her sister. We got little hints on the relationship interest, which Is perfect when mentioned in a book.

The only thing is the hero was very quick to end his grumpy streak and fully accept he can move on as a widower. However his dirty talk made up for it.
