Publisher's Summary

Piper

Piper Mackenzie first sees him shirtless, standing in front of the military plane she was about to board, with one rather large wrench in his hand. The fact that he has the plane - the one that she’s about to be flying on for hours - in pieces only minutes before she’s set to take off on it doesn’t faze her. At least, not until a flippant joke about dying in midair leaves his lips.

The second time she sees him, he’s helping her from the wreckage of her car. The wreckage that he helped cause.

The third, he’s laying across from her in the same bed, and there’s no denying what happened the night before.

The fourth...well, that time would be the first of many. Being Mrs. Jonah Crew has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?

Jonah

Jonah Crew saw her for the first time as she stared at him in awe. It was snowing, the temp was in the negative degrees, and he couldn’t think about anything but her and the look of horror on her face when he tells a badly-timed joke.

The second time he sees her, his heart skips a beat, but not for the reason that one might think. Mainly, it’s due in part to the fact that his truck smashed into her car so hard that his chest hits the steering wheel and his heart decides to stop working right.

The third time, he’s fairly positive that he’s died and gone to heaven. At least, that’s what waking up next to a beautiful woman like her signifies, right?

The fourth? Well, he’s not quite sure how he got there, but he’s already said "I do", so what’s a guy to do?

Piper’s story!

I was looking forward to Piper’s story and this did not disappoint. Piper is done with her military tour and is back in Kilgore. She meets Jonah on the flight back and, after a series of events, they end up married. Let’s see if this couple will have an HEA.

Loved it!

Finally Piper’s turn. Like most Lani Lynn Vale’s stories, this was a short and sweet romance.

Our main characters do things backwards, but of course it works out beautifully for them.

The identity of the villains and their reasons caught me half by surprise.

Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton do a wonderful job narrating as they always do.

All in all a very enjoyable listen.

Recommended audiobook.

Thought is was good book! Loved the KPD Swat series, and though I would like them mentioned more this series and it’s characters are good!
I saw some people reviewed the male reader negatively , I thought he was good though.

Good book

I enjoyed the book. I was expecting more for Piper's story. The only thing I can honestly say is I prefer Mason Loyd. But he was good not my favorite

SWEET, CUTE, HOT.. & OVER WAY TOO SOON

A really enjoyable light, feel-good insta romance that had a splash of intrigue drama and suspense, three surprises and pure gold at the end to go along with the sweet ‘n tender of the plot. There was a nice mix of relationship building, sex, secondary characters, sex, mishaps, humor, sex, ‘accidents’ and a genuine feel of togetherness during Jonah and Piper’s building romance. After Cupid had aimed and fired his illustrious bow, Fate and Destiny then stepped in to weave a well-planned web of three ‘same time’ coincidences so this loving couple would meet, match, marry and be together forever.

Worth a credit? Yes, this very enjoyable dual POV story was, for me, creditworthy.. and Erin and Teddy were the perfect pair to breathe life into Jonah and Piper’s sweet love story.

Love this new series!

Jonah is direct and to the point and most people see Jonah as an a$$hole and he agrees wholeheartedly lol, but Piper sees something in him. These two burn up the pages with their chemistry and these narrators do a fantastic job bringing their story to life.
