I initially got into this series because I needed something for a long car ride and I figured a fully voice acted audiobook would be good background noise while I griped about traffic. To my utter surprise - traffic jams weren't a problem, as I was enjoying the story and characters so much the chance to spend more time with them was well worth it.

Jager Thunder keeps up with the pattern of shockingly difficult to put down. I spent more than a few nights driving around listening to it, telling myself 'just one more chapter'. The characters from The Scarlet Albratross fit in perfectly with the cast of the Guild of the Cowry Catchers and the new dynamic is electric. Hinton also has a way with words that few possess, and Rish Outfield and Laura Harris bring everyone to life with such passion.

All in all? Adore it. Cannot wait for the next installment, especially on that cliffhanger.
