Her voiced irked me the whole way through....

There was little to no story/character development. A whole bunch finger pointing. This was very disappointing. I'm getting a refund for this one.

Dumb

Dumb af. She blames everybody but herself.. the woe it’s me everybody hurts me is so unrealistic

She so judgmental of the men she’s speaking of and can’t even see her wrongs

Warning: Don’t waste your time

Listening to her narrate was annoying during most of the book. The writing was premature, as if a high school student wrote it and tried to sound philosophical. Each story was basically the same and of course, everything was always someone else’s fault. Her blunt/ descriptive truths about her sexual encounters (champion’s breakfast; giving a blowjob on the first meet up because she felt odd about the guy not making a sexual pass at her) and selfish ways (careless about someone who tried to commit suicide) were extremely distasteful. This book just tells us that she’s a pretty girl with a lot of hurt, most likely stemming from her parental guidance and the lack there off.

Brittany's truth

This is not a self help book. The reviews that states she had no message...she didn't take responsibility. It's her truth and that's the way I read it. She states some real facts about men and relationships that resonated with me. Again, it's her truth! Same lines as Karrine Steffans "Superhead" tell all "Confessions of a Video Vixen". What I took from her book was what all women face at some point in their lives...we change to please men when we should be pleasing ourselves and being unapologetic! Be authentic and be who you want to be. She's happy being who she is. Good read. Could have been more detailed but a good read.

I am a dude, but this book connected with me. Showed me perspective on the other side of an unhealthy relationship. The performance helped this book a lot.

Beat my expectations

Brittany brought this book to life with her animated reading and interesting tone. Related to this book on many levels. Book not for the prude (hints the cover)
